Am I a threat ?

I created the above image whilst “Quarantined” .

Arriving at Perth international airport , all passengers , myself included were formed into an orderly line and loaded onto bus’s along with our positions. To oversee the group were  a couple of men  wearing military uniforms , some police cars with flashing lights and 40 degrees heat.

Some time later the train of bus’s  and police cars delivered us directly to a Hotel . A new collection of  security personnel ushered us individually to our air conditioned rooms.

The process was a directive by the order of the Australian Federal Government and West Australian health department. EMERGANCY MANAGEMENT ACT 2005 (W.A) sections 67,70 and 72a )

I am an artist.

14 Days duration from entry into Australia

No direct sunlight or fresh air.

No where outside to  exercise.

A private ( polite ) security guard 24/7 directly outside the door.

On the plus side I was fed and watered , all my medical requirements were catered for. I was  then duly released , invoiced for my inconvenience and set free on the 25th of December 2021.

An excerpt from the document handed to me at the end of the quarantine period :  ” You are not a risk to community health and do not need to wear a mask in Western Australia. ”

“You are free to return to your usual business and pose no threat to your family , community or workplace. ”

Little do they know ( joke ) , but seriously was I a risk and a threat before entering Australia ?

Perhaps I was ,but the awkwardness surrounding the entire event for me was the lack of compassion and forewarning , assumption that everyone had an app , a smart phone and were prepared to comply.
