Automation and Future of Work

The old systems, models, and ways of doing things are struggling to survive as new ways of doing things are emerging rapidly due to advances in robotics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning-driven automation. Driven by intelligent machines, this ongoing automation, matches or outperforms human performance in a growing number of actions. As a result, it is important to evaluate the pace and extent of automation–and understand what the impact of automation on employment, economics, and efficiency will be.

  • What factors will determine the pace and extent of automation adoption, and the economic impact associated with automation potential?
  • Which activities across which industries have more potential to be automated and which nations will be impacted more?
  • What is the timeline of automation?
  • Will the people displaced by automation find other employment?
  • What are nations policymakers doing to help workers face the impact of automation?

Time is now to discuss Automation and The Future of Work!
